Crafted with organic, Alberta-milled flour and naturally leavened over 24+ hours, my Chocolate Croissant Sourdough Loaf is where tangy sourdough meets rich, buttery pastry flavor. Real butter gets worked right into the dough, creating a tender, enriched crumb that feels like a bakery croissant in loaf form. Semi-sweet chocolate melts into soft pockets throughout, giving you that classic chocolate croissant taste — comforting, nostalgic, and just indulgent enough to make breakfast feel special.
Croissant Comfort Energy
This loaf starts with my signature sourdough base — organic unbleached white flour, whole wheat flour, filtered Devon water, and Celtic Sea Salt — then gets enriched with real butter for added softness and flavor. A generous mix of chocolate chips is folded through before baking, creating a golden crust and pillowy interior with melty chocolate running through every slice. There is no added sugar outside of the chocolate itself, so you get richness without being overly sweet.
Ingredients: Alberta organic unbleached white flour, Alberta organic whole wheat flour, filtered Devon water, Celtic Sea Salt, real butter, semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Please note: the chocolate is not organic… some ingredients are nearly impossible to source locally without a wild price tag that I would need to pass along to customers.
