Food Allergy + Household Notice
At Prairie Sourdough Co., I believe in being transparent about how and where your bread is made. While everything is crafted with care, precision, and strict cleaning practices, my microbakery operates out of a regular home kitchen — which means it is not allergen-free.
Allergen Information
My kitchen may contain or come into contact with:
-
Peanuts
-
Tree nuts
-
Wheat
-
Gluten (all products contain gluten)
-
Dairy
-
Eggs
-
Sesame
-
Soy
Although surfaces, tools, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized before every bake, cross-contact cannot be completely eliminated. Because of this, my products are not suitable for individuals with severe or life-threatening food allergies.
A Note About Pets
Yes — I have pets in the home.
No — they are not in the kitchen during baking, cooling, packaging, or any food-related prep.
When I bake for orders, the kitchen becomes a closed, controlled workspace. Pets are fully removed from the area, surfaces are sanitized beforehand, and tools are handled with strict hygiene in mind. Still, because pets live in the home, I cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
Your Safety Matters
If you or someone in your household has allergies or dietary concerns, I encourage you to reach out before ordering. I’m always happy to answer questions about ingredients, sourcing, or preparation so you can make the safest and most informed choice.
Prairie Sourdough Co. is built on honesty, quality, and community — and that includes being crystal-clear about allergens and household factors.
